I was going through my old stuff, and I got this card from a neighbor kid like 25 yrs ago. What are your thoughts on authenticity?

1) Wrong forum
2) Looks good to me. At the very least, whoever signed it knew how to make their letters identical to Ripken's.

Not sure what you're basing that off. The C and the a look good to me, and the J is pretty close.

lautnerfied, when was your book signed? Since chaby88's card was signed 25 years ago, it's possible that's how his signature looked back then. Just trying to play devil's advocate.

It looks close to his vintage sig.
But has enough differences to the point where I wouldn't want it in my collection.

I have never gotten a real one. So you should ask a person how has seen a real one to do the authentification.
