Philip Seymour Hoffman autograph fake or real?

So I think I just committed a novice mistake and purchased an autographed card online. I really wanted a Philip Seymour Hoffman autograph (may he rest in peace) and this seemed like a good deal. A too good to be true type of deal. I haven't received the card just yet but this is the image provided for the card. I would appreciate feedback from experienced collectors, but please be gentle. I know I am asking for opinions but don't be too harsh on me, I realize this was probably a bad idea on my part. Thanks!

This is a PSA DNA one. What company did you get it from? You can probably get a refund.

It's an individual selling cards they purchased from an LA dealer. Or so they claim. We have exchanged messages and they guarantee that if I submit it for authentication it will pass. This is exactly what I plan to do. I'm sending it to psa/dna once I receive it. If it fails, I'm demanding a refund.

But you know, if you search for Mr. Hoffman's autograph online you will never find a consistent style. It has made it harder to determine the authenticy of this particular autograph. Thanks for the reply.

I agree, I looked in to Mr. Hoffman as well, but the inconsistency in his style made me hesitate.

If it is fake, they better also pay for the PSA DNA price. Just my opinion.

I think I will. They shouldn't be making claims they can't back up later. I just hope it doesn't come down to that lol. I've been looking at the picture of the autograph I purchased and the one you posted as an example of an authenticated one and the first name in both of them look a lot alike. Makes me hopeful I bought a real one.

Because PSA is ALWAYS right and the PERFECT sample to use when trying to determine if an autograph is authentic.

Yep, the most trusted company ever. They're never wrong! Nope, never.

More trustworthy than you. Or other 3rd party companies.
