I looked trough my magazines from the IAA 2013 (Internationale Automobil Ausstellung) and there was a Mercedes-Magazine i got at their promotion stand and never looked through it. And when I opened it there was a surprise in it:
3 cards with autographs on it and one unsigned driver card.
The 3 signed are:
- Mika Häkkinen

- Gary Paffett

and
- Robert Wickens

The unsigned card is from Bernd Schneider

Now to my question:
Was anyone there as well and knows something about them being signed or (I do not hope so) being printed?
I first thought they are printed but then I realised some things which confused me ( please do not judge me, I am new to this and those would be me first printed ones, so I do not know much about it)
- The signatures are "on top" of the cards, they are about hald an millimeter "high", so you can feel them. I know that there are some signatures are "pressed", so a press just pushes the paper out on the other side ( i saw one of these at a friend´s collection), but this is not the case here. so the back is flat.
- I read that printed ones seem to be "part of the picture and seem to be in it" but this would not fit here. But I am also not sure about any pen leaving marks, that are "so high above the card".
- Also if they were printed I would not understand why they would do an Unsigned Card in there? that would be no big difference to them, but in case they are signed by the persons themselfes it might just got overlooked.
- I looked on ebay and other sides. Some call them Printed, some Signed, so that did not help very much :/
I´m sorry if I did not described it very good but I do not know how to do it better and hope someone can help me.
Greetings
