Actually...One Direction does still sign. If you write to 1D through their UK fanmail address they do still sign. It's just very hit and miss-- I've seen people get preprints and others get legit autographs. I noticed they usually send autographs back when they are in the UK/have time off. I got both a preprint and an authentic through the UK address. I wrote two different times. It's very much worth a shot.

How long ago did you send out to them?

I am just now seeing this! Sorry! I sent in sometime in the summer and got my authentic in November.

One Direction don't sign through their Modest! agency. I sent to them years ago and never got a reply at all. But I have the 'Gotta Be You' single handsigned and a music sheet for 'I Want' handsigned:)
