I received a pre-print from the cast of mythbusters some time ago using that address. I don't count pre-prints as successes, but if that is all you want, then you could say it was a success. Sorry I don't remember the dates and generally don't post pre-prints (every now and then I do, but not regularly).

Yeah I sent them each a picture hoping they would sign it. I don't consider reprints successes either

Yes, I sent to the whole mythbuster team and got Authentic replies from all of them a couple years ago!!

I was lucky. I sent LOR & SASE on Feb 2011 to Beyond Prod. San Francisco address and got an 'original' signature photo of the entire cast on Sept 2011 but it came from Australia. So I guess it was forwarded to Australia.
