Robert Pattinson...SAE and photos necessary?

Is it necessary to enclose a SAE and photos when you write to him? I just sent off a letter, and I'm wondering if I should send a follow up with a photo!
I sent Rob just a letter and SAE and he wrote back, using his own envelope on which he wrote my address, and sent me a nice 4x6 photo from this year's MTV Movie Awards. {thumb2} So he does sometimes respond without a SAE and he usually sends his own photos too.
