Hi, I'm goin' to write a letter to Axl Rose, or all members of GNR by using their address. But I'm just curious, have anyone had a success using one of them? I can't find any subject about feedback from GNR or Axl, so I'm askin'

I haven't had any success with trying to get Axl...I don't think he likes fan mail that much. lol I haven't tried to get the full band though. All I know is that former members Slash and Duff McKagan sign ttm. I have had success with current Rhythm guitarist Richard Fortus, too.

Unfortunately Axl will not sign for you, it'll either come back an RTS or you'll just never see anything of your request again.

You can try other members of Guns though, former and current.

Heh ok. Thx for help, I wouldn't waste time on writing a letter to him U know, when I'm writing, I'm doing it longer than you, because of correcting mistakes etc.

Ya i would have to agree with all getting axles autograph is close to impossible he is to self centered to sign ttm. :mad:

I have Axl Rose's autograph.

Got it signed outside, on the way to the O2 arena.

He actually was quite nice guy!

Yes, it is "commonly known" that Axl does not sign. However, if you are a real fan, I would give it a shot. I also got real signatures from people who were said to be impossible to get them to sign. That was mostly VV though. But anyway.

Slash will happily sign for you, if you include SASE. The others I do not know.

Duff McKagan and Slash work as far as I know.

During late 1980s I sent a request to a recording studio in London (where I heard GnR was recording) with a SASE and a mini poster, and received the signed poster in a different envelope a week later. I addressed it to W. Axl Rose only, but got every band member's signature on photo in return, plus one signature I couldn't identify.

Duff was the only one who used my name. It was something like "India ~ cool name!! Thanks!! Duff" with a HUGE 'D'. Izzy's signature had both names, full 'Izzy' and a wiggle of 'Stradlin'. Axl's signature was in capital letters. Slash's signature read like "Glagn". His 's' looked like 'g'. Steven Alder's autograph was a squiggle. The mysterious signature read like "V Muile". I still don't know who this person is. One of them drew a doodle in thick black ink on the back of the poster. A black-haired woman, from waist up, with a bottle of alcohol nested in between her huge (covered) breasts and a cigarette hanging off her trout mouth.

I didn't know I was supposed to send a request to their agency or fan club. When I read a titbit in a metal magazine (Kerrang! or Raw magazine) that they would be at this studio, I looked up the studio's address in Yellow Pages and posted the request.

I'm pretty sure my mini poster is still at my parents'. I'll try to find it next time I see them and see if I could scan it for this thread.
