Stan Lee Failure

Unread post by Jimbo123 »

It was my first autograph request, but i know he only selects a few people like every month or so and they get their's back in about 8 days, it's been 3 weeks now and i have accepted that i will most probably never see my comics again :cry:

My letter wasn't that long but i thought that he would be busy so i didn't write an essay!

i don't think i'll try him again :neutral:

Stan gets so many requests, some he is able to sign right away, some sit in a pile until he gets to it. I think it depends on when he's in his office and when he's out of town working on other projects. I tend to assume if he gets 2 requests in a day, he'll sign both right away, but if he gets 50, he's probably not going to get to all of them right away. keep your head up and one thing I've learned about autograph requests, be patient

Don't give up, Mine took less than 2 weeks BUT that don't mean you will not get yours signed. Keep the faith!

Yeah I wouldn't give up hope yet. One of my longest successes took 900+ days. I too am waiting to hear back from Stan. {thumb2}

Stan will sign it and return it. He is very faithful. He doesn't choose a few to sign, he signs all, he is just really busy right now after Marvel selling to Disney. Alot of news stations are having him appear and talk about the sell and what he sees in the future for marvel being run by disney. Be patient. You'll get your comics back.

I just wanted to add that some celebs won't reply overseas even with IRC's, if you don't provide postage it might not ever happen. Example, I'm still waiting on Jeremy Bulloch, who usually replys very quicky to those living in england, while I haven't been waiting very long, it could be very possible that he doesn't or won't ship to the USA even with IRC's. I've heard on this board before that if you don't provide IRC's for overseas request from Stan Lee that he won't reply.
