Bobby Mitchell failure

On 7/30 I sent a letter a card and an sase to Browns HOF receiver Bobby Mitchell and yesterday received my card back in the mail unsigned. I sent it via the HOF address. Does anyone know if he signs only for $ or he is in bad health or just doesn't sign? Let me know trying to get Browns HOFers.
