1 strange failure from Lou Ferrigno

Recently wrote to Lou Ferrigno at the address in the database and had my photo returned unsigned. No letter or explanation. Does anyone know about his signing habits? I know he does sell autographed photos on his website so maybe he does not respond through the mail. Has anyone else had the same response?

Lou Ferrigno charges a lot more than he should for an autograph at conventions, and from what I have heard is often rude.

You could possibly try him at NBC via Celebrity Apprentice. Not sure if they finished filming for the season or of the address but worth a shot!

I met him at a convention a few years back and he was very nice and pleasant. I dont know what he charges now but it was $15 for a signed photo and $20 for a poster, which is reasonable.

The last convention I attended where he was a guest, it was $30 for an autographed photo (through a rep); I didn't get one, but I did briefly go up to say hello to him, and he was very nice.

I've heard good and bad things about Mr. Ferrigno. Some people say he's very pleasant...when you buy his autograph. He does charge about $30 at conventions now.

Some say he can be rude if you ask him for a free one. I can't say as I don't have any experience with him. But I would say that your photo being returned is a good sign that he's not giving away freebies, regardless of his personality.

I bought a signed poster from him at one of our conventions out here, gave him the $30 bucks (it was an awesome Hulk poster so I couldnt pass it up), he signed it and when I asked to get a picture with him he said "For $30 dollars"....I wasnt about to pay $60 dollars for a poster and picture. So he's definitly all about the money, but I do like the autographed poster I got.

I introduced myself and thanked him for his years on the Hulk as I grew up watching that show. I wasn't even collecting autos back then. This was at a comic con in Chicago in 2004 I think. I offered a handshake and those very brief kind words - and he cut me off before I could even finish and told me if I wanted a handshake I needed to buy his book.

Very rude. That alone made me decide against buying the book. He might have been really nice to others - but he was kinda an ass to me. And I probably would have bought a book - but didn't know he was even selling them up until that point. Kinda screwed himself out of a sale though with his attitude to a sincere fan.
