Has anyone had success using this venue address to
write Dame Maggie Smith. I sent an 8 by 10 inch photo a month ago.
I expect a 3-4 month wait. But should I write her fan mail address as well?

Help & or thoughts.

You should have just sent it to her agency. She always signs via that. They normally only send out already signed photos of the cast via this address.

Thank you for the info. I collected autographs in my pre teens and teens. And am getting
back into the swing of it. I didn't know there'd be a difference between the 2 addresses.
That is until I began seeing success stories solely from her fan mail address. I'll try another letter and photo
via the proper addy.

I wrote VV but not directly to Madame Smith. I have pre signed photo from this adress (I didn't sent any photo)

Dame Smith replies via agency so it's the easy way for me.

I sent her a request to the ealing studio address on the 13th of February and still waiting for a response. I sent a photo for her to sign.
