I wonder how everyone can get a pic signed of Vera Miles, but me.

All it takes is a nice letter, provide your own photo, and a SASE is an absolute must!

I did that and never got my picture back. I wrote her again, and told her what happened, thinking it might have gotten lost in the mail, but I never heard from her, and I did not have another pic to send.

Did you include her name on the return address of your SASE? Perhaps your mailman is also a fan of Vera Miles; when I wrote to Eva Marie Saint recently and received my SASE, her name had been marked out, and one possibility is that she didn't want people along the way wanting to acquire the envelope. Also make sure you have enough return postage, although it sounds like you did. Thanks for replying. My printer is not working now so I can't print the picture. It is a very nice photo. I do not know if I will try her again or not. I did put the correct amount of postage because I took it to the post office to make sure. If I hadn't I would have gotten back saying insufficient postage, right? Another question, have you ever heard of anyone getting an autographed picture from Kim Novak?

Not long ago I received one of my return envelopes with (fortunately) signed photos, and a small envelope from the mailman requesting $0.55 (the cardboard in the envelope was too rigid for the lower rate that I had used, I think), so I think you're right about that. I wish you well on your attempts with Vera Miles; when I wrote her, I received the signed photo in about 10 days. I type all of my letters, so it wasn't a handwritten vs. typewritten letter issue.

I use to type all of my letters but now my printer does not work. I have not sent any since then, because I did not want to write them, but I will have to I guess, because I do not want to buy a new printer, just for this purpose. I saw where someone got one from Kim Novak. That is the first person I have heard of that has gotten one from her.
