AFI Film Festival Sucuess?

I am interested in sending some fan mail to a few actors they will be in Los Angles for a Film Festival. Do you know if you can send it to the theatre for that film festival? Has anyone had Sucuess with mailing fan mail to a film festival?!

I don't know about the AFI, but I tried sending mail to Saoirse Ronan via Cannes once and they said they don't pass on fanmail

I have had a few different successes with film festivals but not in the USA I haven't tried the as yet.
I don't know what is silly about it. It's a sensible question to ask.
