Susan Atkins semi-success....anyone have this happen before?

I wrote a letter to Susan Atkins a couple of weeks back and got a postcard from someone saying "I recv'd your photos, just sending a quick reply, will write when I have more time. Susan" I highly doubt she wrote this, but would anyone at the prison really do that? And what does it mean "write when I have time", do they save your address or something???? Gahhh, I'm confused
