I want to write a few Baseball players, but I'm wondering if I should wait until they're playing again. Do you think mail would get forwarded to them during the off season?

they might..not sure. Or they'll hang on to it untill the season starts. I always wait a few days before the start of the season to send my request.

I'm not sure about spring training, but I know some stadiums will let you try to get autographs. Some WILL NOT even let you try(Vikings). We were at the Indy/New England game in Indy a few years ago and I got a program signed by Rodney Harrison, Ty Law, Matt Light, Bethel Johnson and a few others. We were at the Indy/Buffalo game this year and my wife got a pennent signed by about 8 Colts players and I got a card signed by Bryan Fletcher.

My wife and kids have sent out a few Topps football cards and have received most of them signed and even a few team fan packs. They sign with a sharpie and sometimes some of it is smudged, but the kids love it.

I always send my requests at the stadiums. I never tried during spring training so I can't really tell you what's better. Most if not all players and teams do sign TTM but remember to send something for them to sign and don't forget a SASE.

Hope this helps. Goodluck with your requets :)

The majority of my autograph collection is baseball related.

I would wait untl the season starts to mail to that player, or you could always mail to Spring Training....go to the teams website (http://www.stlcardinals.com) for example, and it will give the address of the Spring training Stadium somewhere.
