Aussie Rules (AFL)

For three reasons have I made this post:
1. The first is because of the lack of AFL posts on this site because it's American dominated (not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just you don't know what you're missing out on
).
2. To ask other Australians who they barrack for and if they are true fans, or just followers.
3. I wanted to post here to ask Americans if they've heard of and what they know about AFL. If you want to know anything about it PM me because pretty much any Australian will tell you it's the best sport ever (equal to cricket for me...of course!).
