Coronation Street and Emmerdale

Unread post by FatFurby »

Hi, I know the addresses to write to both Corrie and Emmerdale. The thing is though, I'm collecting for a charity auction and I know that Eastenders don't give out autographs for auctions. I was just wondering if anyone had receieved replies from either Corrie or Emmerdale for a charity auction? I hope that made sense.
Thanks

Hi!

Eastenders do send signed items.. they send a number of signed cast cards that can be auctioned.

Emmerdale send out a set of unsigned Emmerdale cards, but these can be popular if the right audiences are attracted.

Coronation Street do send out items.. I wrote to a particular cast member who got my picture I sent signed for my auction by 17 cast members.

Hope this helps,

Wow, ok thanks. I don't know where I heard the thing about Eastenders; I think it was on the website a while ago that they don't send out stuff for auctions. But thanks for the advice, I'll give it a go. x

I think that is for multi signed items, eg: a signed Albert Square sign.

You probably read it on their website, because it says -

"Q: How can I get items for charity, or ask an actor to appear at a charity event?
A: Due to the huge volume of requests for donations, we cannot provide EastEnders memorabilia. For requests concerning appearances by cast members, please write to them individually at the address above."

To me that implies they dont donate things at all :?
