Hi all,
I'm thinking about getting celeberities autographs and selling them for this charity:
http://www.justforkids.org.uk
The two questions I have:
1. If I were to do this should I email Just for Kids and ask them for some sort of reference number?
2. Would it be too cheeky if I asked the celebrity if they could send me a signed photo too?
Thanks for your help,
Dave

I would personally email or write to the charity to let them know what you are doing. That way, if anyone checks with them they will know about it.
They may also be able to help you out by providing you with their own headed paper (which makes a tremendous difference) or failing that, an official charity collectors number.
In practice I have found that many celebrities will send you an "extra" signed photo for yourself when you collect for charity, although I personally wouldn't ask for it

You might just mention that you collect autographs yourself, and see if you are lucky!!!! I would say that I get an extra photo once in every four successes anyway.
Hope this helps!
Ian
