The South Devon Players are a non-profit community/amateur theatre group, and as such are funded by ticket profits, supplimented by the occaisional carboot-sale stall run by members, and, recently, a donation from the Grassroots Grants. We often also perform for local charities, nursing homes and community events free of charge.
At the moment, we are raising money for several costs and items needed for the continued growth and improvement of the group, and are holding a big fundraiser
on Saturday September 18th, 2010, at Brixhams Scala Hall (the main town hall) in Brixham town centre.
This will involve an exhibition of the groups history thus far, as well as a
Jumble sale, & an auction of celebrity autographs

to start 9.30am.
Books, plants, bric a brac, clothes, crafts.
refreshments available.
AUCTION OF CELEBRITY AUTOGRAPHS
to start at 2.00pm.
