i was just wondering how long it would take for a charity auction/sale to be organised

The length of how long your charity auction would take to get organized would obviously depend on how many requests you send out.

given that you should wait up to around 6 months for some requests to be returned, i would say around this time just to get the successes together or longer sometimes.

if you only send to local people (in your own country) i would say that it may take just a few months to recieve your requests back.
so basically, if you write to people locally, or people you know aren't filming anything it could only be a few months, but it could be fore if you send to people who are filming/out of the country/are based overseas.

thank you for your help! i may get a few friends to help me aswell!! most of the people im writing to are from the uk(my own country) but a few are from others but im planning and writing now for around September!!

September would be about right, any sooner than that and you would have problems getting sorted in time. I took 9 months to collect autographs for my first charity auction.
