Can someone advise me on the best way to go about gaining support from celebrities regarding a charity auction? This is my first time using this forum so any help would be appreciated.

Read, read, read The topics above (all you ever wanted to know about charity auctions, etc) are great. They helped me out. Compose a letter, if you mail it out make sure its on the charities letterhead. In our letterhead we have our address, website address, phone number, and our EIN number. There are several samples of letters also, mine is somewhere down the list (letter I use: long but seems to be working - or something like that).

We are in the process of planning our auction and believe me, it takes a lot of work - can't happen over night - wish it could.... geez, lots of stuff to do but having a blast with it.

Also, everyone here is great. They are helpful and friendly - so if you have questions - ask away, someone will know the answer.
