Well we finally have all our letters out - whew! I'm sure there will still be an occasional 1 or 2 that will go out periodically but our big list is done. So now we sit back, wait and keep our fingers crossed. I'll update this count periodically. Good luck to all charities - hope you all have a great success.

What do you mean by "17 denials"? Have celebs actually responded to say they won't support you?

I am amazed as I have had a very few denials for my charity collecting

Very occasionally they say they only support their 'approved' chosen charity, but on the whole they always at least give you a signed photo!!

Guess "failure" would have been a better word but no matter what word you use it's still a denial. Denials have been from Arnold Palmer, Wynonna Judd, Cal Ripken, Barron Hilton, just to name a few - and none of them sent a picture... so I think its a complete failure. The others are from the sports teams - so far I've had about 22 denials and 1 success. Anyway, it teaches me for next year.

I definitely cannot complain about what I have received so far - they are all wonderful successes.

Arnold Palmer refused to send you anything? That's very strange because I just obtained a few photos from him ttm and attached was a letter saying they will send out 2 and only 2 to each request. If you looking for an Arnold Palmer photo for your charity I'd be happy to donate one of mine.

I guess he denied because we are a charity and asking for a donation. His letter said how they had filled over 3,000 requests to help benefit organizations around the country. And it has become necessary to cut back on the number of requests that can be accommodated.

I understand, he must get bombarded.

That is very sweet to offer donating one and we would deeply love to have one. It would be a great addition. Thank you very much.
