Atleast two of the "locations" have postal addresses, the Gloucester Cathedral and The Angel Hotel. The only thing I really need is the shooting dates on these two, and its not that hard to find out.. Anyway, I'll see what I do! {thumb2}

I have to disagree. If you've been searching for addresses, specifically VV ones for as long as I have, I have to say that it is VERY difficult to find shooting dates at particular locations not to mention filming dates in general. Also, even if you do find dates, I'm not so sure either of those locations will pass on the fanmail as they're merely using the location and its not a production office as such.

Good luck though if you are still planning to try it out.

I know it wont be easy, but if there's a possibility, even just a little one, why not take it? Esp. with guys like these who normally only sends out PPs. The thing is, I dont live in London or L.A or any other huge city where all the premieres take place so IP is not an option for me (i.e this is the only shot i got for an authentic). I fully agree with you though, it'll be hard.
Anyway, I'll send the hotel and cathedral a message and see what happends from there. Also, I've been in contact with Marcus Grodentz, the head of Communications and Marketing on the Gloucester City Council. He's the one to turn to for information, advice and permission to film in the city. I'll see what answers I can get.

though I fully agree with James about the difficulty of catching a celebrity at a specific location, its a pretty cool idea. It will probably be a risk, but hey, whats the fun without the risk in losing out

Exactly. I just think its pretty boring to go the same way as everyone else, especially when you know for sure that you'll end up with a Pre-print if you do.. I'll see where I end up. If I dont find anything, its not that big of a deal. I'll probably just try again with the next HP-movie!

What I know so far is that Emma Watson began filming her scenes on December 18th and that they're done shooting in Lacock, so The Angel Hotel is not an option anymore. They were in Lacock for three nights in late October (26-28), shooting a lot of outdoor scenes. The filming was to involve Dan Radcliffe, Ralph Fiennes (Voldemort) and Michael Gambon (Dumbledore).

As far as I know they havent started shooting the scenes at Gloucester Cathedral yet. A newspaper stated that "auditions would be taking place in Gloucester at the end of this month for students to have a chance to be in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Those auditions have now begun with students lined up to have their chance at stardom. The students were measured and had their photos taken during the process." -Oct 30th, This is Gloucestershire
