Lost - Season 4

Anyone, preferably one of the Moderators, who knows how long they will be shooting/for how long the Grass Skirt address will be valid? And if there will be yet another season of the show when Season 4 is finished?

I wanna write to Evangeline but Im not sure about the filming dates etc. I thought id check with you first.

Hi. =) Best of luck; I'm about to send one off to Evangeline, Emilie, Terry, etc., too.

Anyway, don't take my word on authority, but as far as I know, the Grass Skirt Productions address is valid year round, even for the actors who's characters have died (like Maggie Grace and Michelle Rodriguez) and they either forward it or it piles up 'til it starts filming again.

Not to mention the beginning of the season airs on January thirty-first, and what with the writer's strike and all, shooting may be over.

Anyone else know better then I do?

I dont know the filming dates, but I have heard there was supposed to be 16 episodes this season (may not happen) and 16 next year, then its over

There was supposed be 48 episodes in total, and it would have been divided in three or four seasons, then "Lost" was supposed to be over. But I don't know how the writers' strike will change this plan...

Are you sure it was 48 episodes, britneyfan? I heard exactly what Jpd did and that, as far as I know is what's happening. There will be 16 episodes beginning at the end of the month and another 16 episodes next season to complete it.

Yeah, that's what I've heard. I read it from the official "Lost" magazine, but it was a few months ago, so it's completely possible that the plan has changed. But that's how it was supposed be...

Yup, it's supposed to be 48 more episodes--3 more seasons of 16 each. However, there were only 8 filmed for this 4th season before the writers strike, and production won't resume until the strike is over. They may still pass on the mail even if the show isn't being filmed, and it will be in production through 2010.
