It's probably possible but I'm pretty sure Franco's next project will be "Howl" first and then this film, which is still vague. Here's an article which proves this, and a quote:

Sympathy for Delicious seems a might vague at this point, so we'll continue to keep an eye out.

Just wondering if there is any new info regarding this movie...I sent an e-mail to the production company as well and I'll report back once or if I hear anything from them.

Also, IMDB seems to have taken James's movie "Howl" off the list...it's under "In Development" status so I'm guessing that he's probably going to film this movie first.
