I've read the FAQ before I ever started posting. There's nothing illegal about posting VV addresses, most of the time the filming studios post up their address information. It's not an invasion of privacy.
I can understand trying to keep people from spamming the VV addresses, but some of the success reports do include the filming address. There's a double standard here.
It is illegal to take addresses from PA or PW or any other site. They get those addresses privately from PO's and aren't meant to be reposted anywhere. And it doesn't matter how simple it may be to find these addresses. If you find them keep them to yourself. And why would I wouldn't make this stuff up? It doesn't matter what fanmail states in their so called "rules". When have the rules ever been followed on this forum? You post VV addresses on this site and you run the risk of having it shut down.

Anyone could find these addresses or the locations where the productions are shooting at. It's not rocket science (just a simple Google search) and it doesn't violate privacy laws. I don't see how sending snail mail to a shooting location (or publishing the address) isn't meant to happen.
You act like there's a rule against mailing letters to actors at shooting locations. Physical mail is a dying medium anyway.

WTH!!!! This is a clear violation of privacy because movie sets/ production offices are considered as private addresses.
I'm sure most of the VV addresses here are from PW or PA. This is what PW posts below each of their issues.
