I emailed the Illinois Film Office to ask them if they would forward fan mail for me or give me the local production office address and phone number, and they said at the request of the production office they have been asked NOT to give out that information.

I'm actually not that suprised. That happens under numerous occasions. Production offices like their privacy, so a lot of the time they request that the film office of the city/town don't release their address. It's a bit unfortunate though.

No, sorry, filming has already completed. The movie will be released in theatres in the USA sometime in September 2009.
