It's open-ended. Therefore, no closing date is set.

But keep in mind, the reviews were horrible for the show, but it is still selling VERY well (probably partially due to Graham's casting), or it has been thus far. We'll see how the reviews change that....but I will say that I do not see this closing any time before the Tony Awards, which are the first or second weekend in June. (But you never know...tough economy!)

Oh! This sounds very interesting. I've wanted to send a request to Levar for a long time. I used to love watching his 'Reading Rainbow' PBS program on TV. {thumb2} I'll have to do some calling around and see if they pass along fanmail.

I'll be calling them this week & see what they say. Sending VV (Via Venue) is pretty simple. You basically write a nice letter to the whole cast or just to a certain performer and include photos & SASE. It's the same as sending to a regular address, but VV addresses are only valid for a short time.

I'm hoping they will pass along fanmail as I'd really like to get LeVar Burton.

The Whitefire Theatre (Los Angeles) is NOT a Broadway Theatre, nor even a Broadway-try out theatre...just simply a regional theatre. Some regional theatres (like Philly's WALNUT STREET THEATRE) are major regional theatres and feature playbills, while many (ie: many state theatres are very lo-cal/etc.) do not. Some don't even carry programmes, so I would NOT hold your breathe by writing to the entire cast; I could be wrong - I don't really know anything about the Whitefire, so if anyone has seen something there I would ask them to see if they hand out playbills, but I'm very skeptical to believe they would do anything cast-signed.

I'd try just writing to him/them personally.

I'm not actually planning on writing the whole cast... I only want to write to Cynthia Watros, and just need to know if they will pass on Fanmail or not.

I contacted Whitefire Theatre today and they told me that they will pass along fanmail to LeVar Burton & Cast. {thumb2} I didn't ask if they sent out Playbill/Programs, but you can always send your own items and include a 6x9 SASE just in case they have a program that the performers are willing to send out. I'm planning on getting my request around and send it out on the day of the play (April 10th) Best of luck to all who send! The address below is the way requests should be sent:
