Well, I haven't actually gotten his signature VV, but I have made two attempts so I will try to answer your questions. A good place to find tour dates is on his website, http://www.paulmccartney.com/, but there are no more concerts planned right now as far as I know. 8x10 tends to be an average photo size, I think all the successes were 8x10s. As for what to put in your letter, I haven't heard this from anyone in particular, but when I wrote my two letters I did my best not to mention the Beatles, because you know that's what everyone wants to talk about. The Wings stuff you should be okay to mention, seeing as how that was his band, but I mostly tried to stick to new things like "Electric Arguments", and I sent a recent photo as well since all the successes are newer photos. Yes, he does sign VV, but very rarely. Your chances of getting an auto are slim, but I don't know whether or not it depends on the letter you send. He could just sign the first one he picks up off the pile of fanmail, and the rest get nothing. No idea about any kind of rule.

But don't take this as gospel. Like I said, I haven't gotten a success from him, these are just my guesses. They could be dead wrong. :razz: One good thing about writing to Paul VV though is that even if you don't get an autograph, they will send you your photo back, so you don't have to worry about losing it. Just keep checking the website for tour dates, and good luck if you ever send anything! {up}
