What difference does it make if they are posted here or on another forum? Only the same amount of people is going to use the address, why would it be spammed?
Out of principal you should not use this address yourself. - That is my suggestion. After all, you wouldn't want to accept help from a stupid person would you?

Tell you what, next time I won't take the innitiative and call production offices etc and bother to post findings at all, to help people like you... how does that sound? That sounds like a nice sharing community!
