I sent a letter asking for a autograph with a SASE on august 31st for Bruno Mars, and it's been 8 days. How long does a VV usually take? :)

Did you by chance send any items for him to sign? with VV it's really important to send items, because they usually don't have any on hand. My VV successes usually take a couple days to a couple weeks for a return. all depends on wether the celeb mailed the items right back or tucks your request in their luggage and answer it later on.

Generally, if they are touring their own country I find it often takes several weeks, about as long as an ordinary TTM, some do it straightaway.

This is a total generalisation, with many, many exceptions, but I find that musicians on tour tend to do it quickly or not at all, actors tend to wait until the end of the production.

I wrote to an actor VV and received the photo back signed after almost a year, so there is no more rhyme or reason to VV than there is TTM, with the added excitement of having no idea whether the letter has been passed on in the first place.
