is it ok to just send a SAE to a VV?

im planning to send lots of mails to VV addresses and i was wondering if it is ok to just send a SAE to a VV?

Hm..I've sent out IRCs and SAE:s to a few VV-addresses. Yeah...partly. I sent my own photos to Ralph Fiennes (+2IRCs and SAE) but didn't include any photos to Daniel Radcliffe since he seems to be sending off pre-signed pictures. Sent an IRC though.
