Hi,

I've just started sending fan mail letters to celebrities and artists, I'm a young fan. I found out Avril Lavigne is going to perform in a concert nearby and I'm planning to send her a fan mail, a request for an autograph as well.

I contacted the venue and I found out that they give any letters to the celebrity's or artist's management team. She will be performing on around October 16 or 17 in that venue.

Do you think there is going to be a chance of reply? What is the best, faster, and easier way of getting materials to be signed by artists and celebrities? When should I send my letter? And what should I put or write in the envelope so the staff would know it's a letter for Avril Lavigne?

Send the letter tomorrow! It typically takes a couple days for it to get there! & if you wait much longer it probably won't make it to her in time. Can't guarantee you'll get a reply, but that's the risk we take when sending VV. If they said they'll pass it along, they will, but after that it's up to Avril if she wants to reply.

Send her an item to sign and SASE as well!

for the envelope I would write

"*Event Staff: Please hold until (Concert date) for Avril Lavigne"
