Is the Hobbit still filming?

Hello! Do you know if the Hobbit is still filming? I know they recently stated they were making it into three parts so that would require more filming. Are they still filming and if not are they going to start filming the third soon? Thanks!

No. They aren't filming a third film, they are using the footage they have and fitting it into 3 films instead of the original idea of doing 2. Although to make it seamlessly fit into 3 films rather than 2, they are filming a few extra scenes, but I think it'll be hard to find out where or when in time to get anything back.

They are filming some pick-ups some time in 2013, but not for long. I don't know when though, so if you know the address and send now you might be lucky if they keep the letters sent. I don't know.
