American Idol Tour Question PLEASE HELP!!!!

Hi! This is probably the wrong forum to post this in but I have a question. Does the cast of the American Idol tour sign Fan Mail VV? And is there a way to meet them without a VIP pass?

Yeah, probably wrong forum, but, doesn't mean I can't help!

I have TONS of experience getting autographs from the Idols. I haven't done any research yet on THIS year's tour, but for the most part:

The Idols will come out both before the show, and after. Especially after, the last couple of years. Since they started doing the VIP tickets, they haven't been coming out before quite as much, but some of them still will. If you want to hang out at the venue before the show, you'll probably get a couple of autographs (I usually get there around noon-2:00). And if you go out after, you're very likely to get autographs. There'll be barriers set up, so just go to the barriers. If you skip the last song or two of the concert itself, and head out early, you'll probably be at the very front of the line to meet them. Some venues have it set up so that it's easy to get right at the barrier even if you don't leave early. Chances are, you'll get a good amount of autographs, depending on weather, their schedule, and the venue. Almost every venue has it set up so you can meet them afterward at the buses/barriers. A few don't though. I know for certain that you can't meet them that way in Toronto, at that big, huge arena they do.

We are going when the doors open at 6:30 but we dont want to leave the concert early,but we go straight to the barrier without passes we could have a chance? Do they sign via FanMail while on tour? Etihwwons?

You'll have a VERY good chance of getting their autographs if you go out to the barrier after the concert, especially if there's a good length line of barriers set up, and you can get close to the front of the line of people. Used to be, if you went out AFTER the concert, and didn't leave early, you didn't have a chance of getting close. But the last couple of years, it's been a lot easier to get close afterward. Take a spin around the arena before the concert tomorrow, and scope out the location of the buses and the barriers. That way you'll know exactly where to go after. As for whether they do mail VV, I have no idea. I've never tried. But, I hope you get to meet them after your concert tomorrow!!!!! You'll have to post, and let me know how it goes for you! And call me Snow. It's much easier. Hahaha!

Also, it's always good to make alliances. Look for really nice looking people, and be very nice and polite yourself. If you're not RIGHT at the barrier, ask if they'll pass up something for signage, or if you can trade spots with them for a particular contestant, if you really want a picture, hug, or something from one person in particular.

Don't steal their spot though, if they do trade with you. Go back to your original spot as soon as the contestant you want has left. Otherwise, well, they'll be extremely displeased with you. Hah!
