"Commander in Chief" (2006) w/ Davis, Sutherland,

Last week the US series "Commander in Chief" (http://german.imdb.com/title/tt0429455 ) premiered on German tv and I was wondering if this series is still being filmed or if it was dumbed/cancelled by the US tv?

The cast contains Geena Davis, Donald Sutherland, Ever Carradine and many others.

Any help and info is highly appreciated! Thanks a mill in advance!

Commander in Chief has unfortunately been cancelled by US televison.

It's really a shame as I loved that show.

It's honestly a shame since I really like the series a lot although only 2 episodes have been aired on German tv so far.

Maybe the Bush (republican) administration didn't like it too much regarding Hillary Clinton to be very close as next president for the democrats.

Do you happen to know if the series was already released on DVD in the US? I'd really like to buy a boxset in case it does exist.

That's exactly what I thought.

They're releasing the series in two volumes although it is only one season.

The first volume, titled "The Inaugural Edition, Part 1" released on June 27, 2006 in the US. The second volume "The Inaugural Edition, Part 2" will release on September 5, 2006.

ABC.com was offering free episode streaming of the whole series but they have now taken down that feature.

Hm, some republican White House guy might have thought that such a free episode streaming might take them some votes on the next presidential vote I guess.

Although I do have a large inventory of thousands of celebrity photos I don't have a single "Commander in Chief" promotional photo.

Do you know where to get HQ stills from that series?

They were offering the service for a number of series. They claimed it was an experiment to see how to the public would respond. They're now saying the feature will return in the fall, although I'm assuming Commander in Chief won't be on it since it was cancelled.

I thought it was odd there weren't a lot of HQ stills for it.

Thanks a mill, I'll see what I can do out of these photos. I hope they'll be printable to 8x12" since they aren't 300 DPI.

Not a lot of information has been released about this yet, but I'll be sure to keep you informed.

It may work for the movie, but I doubt it.
