I'm Curious though, on IMDB it says that this movie is filming in South Carolina, so why is the production address in California?

Because thats where mail will get sent to. Many shows aren't even filmed in CA. For example, 'Prison Break' is filmed in Dallas, Texas. Mail is sent to 20th Century Fox in California though

Filming has been moved back to late February 2007 through May 2007, with post-prouction units staying in Charleston until June 2007.
