As far as I have heard, not all of the cast members have even officially agreed to do it yet. I read that they want more money since the franchise has been so successful.

Here is what I found:

For all of you who have been waiting in anticipation, wait no more! The Disney Channel has released its latest news about the third installment of 'High School Musical.'

According to starmagazine.com, after the success of the first two movies, Disney has already started the process of making a third picture entitled 'Haunted High School.'Here's the catch though, none of the original stars will be in the movie.

That's right, no Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens or Ashley Tisdale! Also, this movie is not just set to appear on television, but to surpass and go straight to the big screen. I guess that just goes to show what happens when time and effort is dedicated to a cause and no appreciation is shown in return.

Efron, Hudgens and Tisdale helped to make the 'High School Musical' productions some of the most watched movies in cable history, and brought in over 17.4 million viewers to watch the world premiere of 'High School Musical 2.'

With all the games, CDs, DVDs, live performances and clothing lines that have been focused on the hit, you would think the Disney Company would show a little more appreciation and allow the original stars to come back. After all, if it wasn't for their spectacular performances the movies would not have become as big as they are.

On the bright side of things, if the original cast does not appear in the third movie, then maybe the saga of 'High School Musical' will finally be put to rest and the world can get back to their lives!

LMFAO, I'm sorry but I don't really believe that. Disney isn't stupid. Plus Corbin just did an interview and said they were still in talks but all of them are very excited for it. The rumors people type up I swear. hahaha.

Disney stated that they are not going to fire her because of the photo.

Thats good! It would be bad if Adrienne Bailon replaced her---she just doesnt fit.
