This is an indepenant film about wrestling. Nicolas Cage is the star. i have been following this story. here is a short article about the casting crew. I live in PA only 45 miles from the location named. i would love any info on this project.

The casting crew of the upcoming independent movie 'The Wrestler' were at Afa The Wild Samoan's Gym in Pennsylvania in the afternoon, and last night backstage at the Ring of Honor show at the Manhattan Center, including Nicolas Cage.

Shooting should be starting soon. Many wrestlers will be in the film, and Nicolas Cage will be taking wrestling lessons.

According to IMDB, the film is set to start filming on January 7 of next year so I'd wait. There isn't much details there. The producton company is Protozoa Pictures and that's all I know. I'll post some more details soon.
