I did contact a rep at the Patriot center and they said to use the 4400 University Drive address...

Okay this is really strange. I called them and she told me to use the 4500 address.

I wonder why on earth they are telling us two different answers? She did tell me that if I had sent it to the 4400 address that it would be forwarded to the 4500 one. Weird!

So if I send to the 4400 one I know it will get to where it is supposed to be going.

I saw it on a list of venues that forward fan mail so someone must have used it in the past and got a result.

I am going to give it a try. Thing is, even if they give it to the celeb they still have to decide to sign it. Some people get amazing results and others . . .

I'll let everyone know how I do. I will definitely know within one week of April 28 if it worked or not.

You can check the "Venues that do/don't pass on fanmail thread, by clicking HERE

If the venue doesn't show up there, then it's best you either just try the venue out or search the venue's official site for an e-mail and contact them yourself and ask whether or not they will pass on fanmail to the artist/band.

You should be able to look up the details of that venue on Google. That should give you an email and a phone number.

You could try emailing them. If they don't respond quickly then call them directly and just ask if they will pass on your fanmail to Dolly.

That's what I did. I called my venue of choice and just asked them if they would pass it along.

Okay, it's coming up on two weeks since the April 28th concert. Has anyone had a response? I haven't.

I am now wondering just how many people sent to that address? Maybe she got too many to handle and decided not to take the time, as she didn't have it. I doubt she would sign after the concert as she would be exhausted. And depending on how early she arrived at the theatre she was probably preparing herself for the concert.

Although I know of other celebs that will do something like 80 meet and greets, signing autographs and taking pics, before their concert, or after. Either way they seem to be able to do it.

I really do hope to hear from Dolly. Perhaps she has taken the requests with her and will take care of them at a later date. If not they could at least send us our photos and stuff back. I sent a photo and my mom's CD cover for her to sign both of them to her for her birthday as a surprise. I would like to at least get my mom's CD cover back as it is her favourite CD and to lose it would be very disappointing. I honestly believed I would hear back from her.

Hopefully we will, she just hasn't had time to yet. I sure hope it is not another one of those "She is too busy" replies again.
