Hello, I wanted to share my experience at this concert.
I went to the Pretty Reckless/The Hollywood Kills concert in Toledo, Ohio at the Frankies Innercity. If anyone has been to this venue, you know how tiny it is. I have never been to a concert where everyone was as squished as we all were. I made friends with some people. Haha!

Anyways, the concert was a little over an hour late in timing, which was supposed to start at 7:00p. I was waiting outside in line and finally, they said all VIP ticket holders come to the door where we went inside and were given posters to have signed by the band (except Ben Philips, which for some reason, he didn't show. I heard he doesn't want people selling autographs). That frustrated me since I paid $50.00 and drove 3 hours to be there, from Columbus, so it would have been nice if the whole band showed up because I'm a HUGE fan of TPR. Well, I would have been livid if Taylor didn't show. Haha!

Anyways, we waited in line and the line went really quickly. The stage manager was rude, unfriendly, and rushed the fans. I wanted to get a picture with them but the security had 2 red X's where fans were supposed to stand if we wanted a picture with them (which is below). I understand security reasons but it was still annoying. There was probably 20-25 people for the VIP, which was sold out, I believe. I think they like to keep a low amount of people for the meet and greet so they get through it quicker. I was really nervous because Taylor comes across intimidating. She was wearing sunglasses and was smoking. Haha!

When I got up there, it felt like it went so quickly, I barely remember it. lol The band signed the poster and I asked Taylor if she would please sign an additional picture which she was totally cool about. Since I paid a lot of money, I wanted to ask at least one question. I was more comfortable with them than I thought I'd be. I looked at Taylor and asked, "I love your song 'My Medicine' and I have to know, when you sing 'there's a tiger in the room and a baby in the closet," is that a hangover reference?" I was pretty sure it was but I hadn't heard any interviews of her saying it. She looks at me with a coy expression and a smirk. "Maybe it is." We laughed and then she was like, "Hell yeah, it is! I f**king love that song." She was very sweet to me as was the other band members.

Then the stage manager said, "Can we hurry it up and get this picture?" I was the third to last person in line, fyi. lol
The concert was a lot of fun. Taylor was great live as was the whole band and I enjoyed myself very much. It was my first time going to a concert by myself, especially three hours away from me. But it was worth it. It was funny...there would be times where after songs finished, there would be breif moments of silence were fans would yell things or questions, and Taylor would respond back usually. In the video I got of "Miss Nothing,"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nts3M3kl ... B_LG5ueVc= @3:00 in the video, two girls yelled I love you and I yelled, "What the hech, I love you, too." She said, "You guys are fun." That made me laugh.

I was really close so it felt pretty intimate which was awesome. Some of the fans were really annoying though but I did my best to tune them out and have fun!

The only thing that surprised me was when they finished, she walked off stage pretty quickly. Two people I met there said they had been to the concert of theirs the day before and said she will do an encore (one more song) but she didn't come back. Maybe we weren't a good crowd...

lol
I also met a new band named "The Hollywood Kills" who surprised me. I thought they were great and I really liked their music. They were very energetic and fun. Good performers. I met them afterwards and one of the guys was yelling he was giving free hugs and if you left, he'd chase you. Someone left and he actually went outside and hugged the person. Haha! He gave me hug, too!

I was telling the lead singer, Jon, I was trying to get a pic of him but my camera wasn't working right so here he is, singing a note, playing guitar, and trying to pose for my camera. Here's the pic:
http://img571.imageshack.us/img571/347/ ... 4small.jpg He said, "Yeah, I remember. I was trying so hard because I like to pose for fans photos." I told him I was sorry but thanks for being a trouper and waiting for my stupid camera to still take the photo. The whole band was awesome. When we took the pic, one of the members said, "Oh yeah, we got 5 hot dudes right here!!!" I laughed! I think they will go far...talented band. Don't mean to go on but I don't get to do this sort of thing often so I'm still kind of pumped from it all. I'm so glad I got to meet Taylor because she' a talented (and pretty) person. Here are pics to check out. Enjoy!
