Is Jessie J sucessful?

Hi there.

I currently live in Jersey in the Channel Islands and I am a huge fan of Jessie J. I have currently written her a letter which is very close to the heart and quite personal. It consists of about 7 or 8 pages. I have requested a letter back with a signed photo and also included a SAE.

Does anybody know if she replies to fan mail and if I will receive a letter and signed photo back?

I also enclosed a couple of gifts for her, a necklace and a bracelet.

Do I have to supply a photo, or will she automatically send one?

If anybody has any other information they know, please do let me know.

I am a huge Jessie J fan also. She replies to fan mail but it takes alot longer than it used to. I think she posted a few weeks ago that she hasn't answered any fan mail for over 6 months as she's been so busy.

So, to answer your question yes, she does answer her fan mail, but it will take time for a response.

Shes does! but it takes several months for her to reply.. but surely she'll supply the photo

Also, i want to write to Katy Perry and Rihanna, for that i will need international reply coupons, but i am not sure how they work, as iam based in the channel islands, so will they need to get a stamp? Also, do they reply to fan mail and Lady GaGa too?

If you want a reply from fan mail, you supply the stamp in order to get a return.

Alright. First of all, you are in the WRONG category. You psoted this in the IP (In-Person) Success Category... but I"ll still help(:

Secondly, a 7 to 8 page letter? Alright, hun, I'm just going to tell you a lot of stars don't even take a second glance at what a fan says, unless they have a lot of free time... they just sign whatever and pack it up ready to go... I've never sent to Jessie J, but I do wish the best for you. I doubt she'll actually read the whole thing, but I would try, what do you know, she actually might read the letter...

Hmm, I'm not sure about the necklace and the bracelet... some stars don't accept that stuff or they just toss it. But it's nice anyway!!

I would supply an index card for her to sign, because there is a good chance that she will sign it herself then if she returns it to you. I would also supply a picture for her to sign if you really want it back on Kodak or HP Premium Paper. I would also stamp my SAE, which would make it a SASE. This is just in case the celebritiy doesn't have stamps on hand, and remember, it's your hobby, not THEIRS. So it's not their responsibility to pay for your hobby.

Since you mentioned that you live on the Channel Islands, which isn't in the United States, I would go to your local postal office and explain your situation... they will most likely give you IRCs. Ask what you should put on your envelope from the Channel Islands to the USA, and then what you should put on your SASE... they will most likely give you IRCs.

I would do this because I doubt that Katy Perry, Rihanna, or Lady Gaga, with their busy lives, would be willing to walk all over God's creation to find a stamp to the Channel Islands.

Make sure while you are at your post office to have them weigh the contents of your letter (make sure that everything is ready to go, your index card/picture, letter, etc.) then have them add any additional postage. Prepare to pay money to get stamps, IRCs, and anything else you may need. I think it would cost $15+ (more for extra postage, IRCs, shipping/air mail costs, etc. depending on how far the CHannel Islands are. (and I'm estimating and talking in US money...)
