Super jealous you got to meet Chloe! Did you get an autograph from her, too? If not, do you know how much she was charging?

You actually paid the outrageous $450.00 stallone was charging just to have your picture takin with him ? I can understand him going to the show for fun or fans but for a guy who is worth a couple of hundred million dollars at least to go to a con and ask for $450.00 for a photo from the fans who made his career is beyond me and pretty crazy and outrageous...

Re: New York Comic Con! Stallone! Moretz! The Following, POI
That is definitely way beyond ridiculous charging that much. I understand the opportunity to meet such big name like Stallone, I just don't think I could bring myself to pay that much. I like seeing the photos and autographs from these comic cons, but I really hope people stop supporting that kind of behavior from these celebrities. I go to horror conventions at least once a year, and I start to get weird when anyone is charging anything over $25.lol. I have paid $40 for Linda Hamilton, but that's the highest I've paid, and I will never pay for a picture someone.Luckily I haven't had to deal with that yet.

I split Stallone with my friend, so I paid $222.50. It's high, but what can you do. I have paid over $200 for sports stars in the past, so it's not going to kill me. As for never paying for photos, that is my main collection aspect, autographs are usually an afterthought so I am willing. I understand an autograph collector not feeling the need though.
Chloe was $75 an autograph, but I didn't bother getting one. I tend to just get photo ops unless the autograph is free.

That's not a terrible price for Chloe, I was expecting it to be more. I assume her photo op was about the same amount? I don't like the whole charging for a photo op thing, but at least they let 2 adults in them so the price can be split. I totally understand about only getting photos, I still think they should do a photo for free with the purchase of an autograph. I might have actually paid for a pic with Chloe, that is if it was the only option. She would've been the first though...Thanks for posting you review and pics, man! I love seeing all that!

The thing I just don't understand is this, First I have nothing against working actors charging for photos or autographs within reason because a lot of the actors from horror movies or tv shows never made crazy money and they sometimes get typecast and cant find a lot of work and it helps them get money and talk to fans but I don't understand why someone like sly who is worth almost a billion dollars I have heard would charge $450.00 for a photo, It doesn't make sence to me for a billionaire to take money from his working class fans when lets be honest if sly said to the comiccon people I want to be there and sign photos for $5.00 and take free pics with fans nobody would say no you cant because he draws people in and so I just find it very greedy personally but if people are willing to pay I guess they are making the choice I just don't agree with it. A s for Ms. moretz her price is a lot less but same thing really she is already a millionare at a young age does she really need comic con chump change lol All seems to be blown out of proportion nowdays and become all about the money. I respect the older generation like lauren bacall,ed asner and tom selleck who sign for fans for free because they have class.Lots of up and coming actors are great signers too before they get too big which is always nice...
Just my opinion but hey if people want to pay these prices go ahead....I wouldn't pay more than $25.00 for any autograph and I wouldn't pay anything for a photo.

I totally agree. The horror actors are usually making a living doing these conventions. No reason a multi-millionaire should be charging that much. Like I said, I hope people don't keep paying these prices otherwise they'll keep charging that.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. Chloe was $90 for a photo, which I also split, so it ran me $45.alexestes wrote:That's not a terrible price for Chloe, I was expecting it to be more. To be perfectly honestly, Stallone doesn't give a crap about fans in the sense he wants to stand there for nothing. He isn't very nice on the street on his absolute own time, and he isn't going to come in to a convention and make nothing. Should he be more grateful? That's a debatable point. One could argue he makes movies, people pay for those movies and enjoy those movies if they keep coming back for more, so the whole relationship is complete. Others can argue he owes his fans something more.johnnylightninglives wrote:The thing I just don't understand is this, First I have nothing against working actors charging for photos or autographs within reason because a lot of the actors from horror movies or tv shows never made crazy money and they sometimes get typecast and cant find a lot of work and it helps them get money and talk to fans but I don't understand why someone like sly who is worth almost a billion dollars I have heard would charge $450.00 for a photo, It doesn't make sence to me for a billionaire to take money from his working class fans when lets be honest if sly said to the comiccon people I want to be there and sign photos for $5.00 and take free pics with fans nobody would say no you cant because he draws people in and so I just find it very greedy personally but if people are willing to pay I guess they are making the choice I just don't agree with it. I personally view it as time is money, hardly anybody does something like this for nothing, and when you're as rich as Stallone is, it needs to be a big payday to be worth his time. I meet about 80% of my names for free on the street, but I have no problem paying for someone I want that is difficult to get posing on the street.
Another note, the autographs and photo ops sold out with Stallone, so the masses were fine with it. I am already hearing rumbles of Harrison Ford and Arnold Schwarzenegger down the line for similar, or in Arnold's case, higher prices.

That should include an autograph too. An autograph from him is an extra $350.00
