Came so close to breaking my TIFF 2007 record for most autographs of 97. Finished with 95, but didn't attend the final days premiere with Jennifer Aniston because I just couldn't justify spending $25 on bus fare + whatever I spent out eating there just to try & break my record.
One thing I was glad for was, I got better quality people for the 95 I got than in 2007 IMO.

Biggest let downs were...
- Melissa Rauch. She had a film there, but wasn't on the confirmed list, so I knew printing for her was a huge risk, but I realllllly wanted to get her, so I did on the off chance she showed...nut of course she didn't. To make matters worse, of the 4 people who were supposed to be there, 2 of those canceled (although I guess Zach Galifianakis had an excuse since his wife went into labour) & of the two who were there, I only had stuff for 1, Amy Poehler & managed a whole 1 autograph from her, I tweeted about my "success"

That's all I had to show for about a 5 hour stretch of my day.
- Emilia Clarke. Allegedly she signed at places away from events. But at her press conference she didn't sign & got booed on camera for it. After her premiere, despite a really small crowd, wouldn't walk over the 15-20 ft to us to sign, despite Jude Law doing it just 30 seconds earlier. Saw her 4 times during TIFF, and only saw her sign once, on the red carpet, and she didn't even get 1/2 the people trying to get her.
- Dakota Fanning. Carbon copy of Emilia apparently. Heard she signed other places. But at her premiere coming out, TWO of us there, she ignored... just seconds earlier, her co-star, Academy Award Winner, Susan Sarandon signed for us.... as did Kevin Kline, another Academy Award Winner, on the way into the premiere. Next day at her presser, Dakota snubbed the fans there as well.
- Benedict Cumberbatch. The 1 & only autograph I got from him literally says
"2013
B. C.
x"
Not really an autograph when you print your initials. I saw people with nicer ones, guess a male with an 8x10 isn't a "fan" to him. Oh well, what can you do.

Of course there was also the plethora of "ugh, I shoulda went for that person instead of this person" stories, but I expect those. You just hope you can minimize it to a manageable amount of failings.

Vera was nice the 1st time, 2nd time she was a very adamant "just 1 per"
Freddie is kinda nice. I feel if he ever becomes a star he might be a prick, but right now, he tolerates fans. Olivia & max were really nice
