London 2012 Gold Medal winner Jess Ennis was in Glasgow yesterday to tour the new facilities at Hampden Park. As she left the venue, I was the only one there to greet her and she was delighted to sign some items for my auctions.
I added her to one of my official TeamGB Athlete worn Poloshirts (which also has the likes of Christine Ohuruogo, David Weir and Jonnie Peacock on it) and she also signed one of my running vests for my summer auction venture "Best of the Vest". I also nabbed a quick selfie with her before the car whisked her away to the next spot on her tour.
Jess was the last of the BIG Team GB 2012 stars for me to meet, so I am thrilled to have finally done it!

Hey cheers, yeah, I was delighted about this one. I had heard she was only signing one per person shortly after London 2012 and I had had a TTM rejection indicating she only supports her own charities now, but Jess was more than happy to do these. Well chuffed.
