Packers Training Camp

Unread post by ConRyl »

Here's the autograph recap for basically one day(I'll explain later)

Day 1

Dujuan Harris-Good signer, didn't sign as much as last year but still not hard to get. Has looked really good in training camp and should get some reps this season as a change of pace back. He always adds his nickname Foxx on everything he signs.
Image

Casey Hayward-Good signer, signed both days but on different sides entering the practice field. He also signed leaving the parking lot but I couldn't get him. Also has looked good in training camp and hopefully he can be the ballhawk he was his rookie year.
Image

Derek Sherrod-By FAR the best signer on the team, signed until he was basically forced to go to practice and then signed for everyone that wanted him after practice. No one signs more than him and he still maintains a decent autograph for how many he does sign. Hopefully he is finally healthy and can get looks at LT of the future.

Ryan Taylor-An ok signer, really only signed going back to the stadium. Glad I found this card or I probably wouldn't have been able to get him on anything. He has looked decent in training camp at TE and is always a mainstay on special teams.
Image

Andy Mulumba-Not that great of a signer from what I saw, I was glad to get him as I think he a lot of potential. Thanks a lot to the member HBMC on here for the Mulumba card as I was specifically looking to get it signed and it turned out nice.

Carl Bradford-Pretty good signer. Really like this guy, I think he's got a lot of potential and is really versitale. Really like the look of the UD card signed.

Jonathan Franklin-He was always around and is truly an awesome guy! He's still very popular in GB and was always signing autographs. I love the look of this photo and I'm thinking of sending it to Franklin TTM and seeing if he could possibly get Lacy on it for me as he now has a job within the organization.

Khyri Thornton-Awesome guy, signed a lot. Actually asked for a copy of this picture and said that he would make sure to get all of the other members of this rookie class to sign it so I'll send him a couple of copies and see what happens.
Image

Morgan Burnett-One of my favorite guys on the team so I was extremely happy to get him. Not terribly easy to get and probably signed about 20 autographs that I saw. Wish I would have had a photofile but this photo turned out nice.

Day 2
So I didn't have much luck getting anyone that I needed from players in the way to practice, way to big of a crowd and really hot. So I'm walking up to where the players ride the bikes up to the stadium and this guy from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel comes up and says if you want 2 sideline passes to today's training camp and of course I say yes, total luck and completely unexpected. This pretty much eliminated any possibility at autographs but I honestly don't care as this was a really rare opportunity and doesn't come around very much if at all. So without further ado here are some pictures from today's practice from the sideline passes, it was extremely close to the players and players were literally walking to and from the Don Hutson center to the practice field through the people with sideline passes.

Here are the pics...

Richard Rodgers and Andrew Quarless

One of Rodgers that didn't turn out great, couldn't get real close to him.

Clay Matthews

Julius Peppers, HUGE this close up

Matthews, Peppers, and Hawk. For anyone that's saying that Hawk shouldn't be on this team is insane. LBs were constantly coming up to him asking him for advice on what to do in certain situations, he's a great leader.

Randall Cobb

Eddie Lacy-By far the coolest experience of the day was how close we were able to get to Eddie Lacy, he literally had to walk right by me a couple of times to go to the Don Hutson center. Those pics are from him working on the jugs machine in which he caught everything cleanly, he looks great and should be a 3 down player this season with his improvement in the passing game.

This was a great experience and I would highly recommend it if you ever get the chance!
