I met Stephenie Meyer
Hey guys!
I met the book author Stephenie Meyer in March 2008, while she was touring through Germany. First she was reading a chapter of "Eclipse", then we had an Q&A with her and at last she was giving autographs. She signed my copy of Twilight and I gave her a present (three crystal hearts like the one Edward gave to Bella in Eclipse". I'm not going to scan in anything, because I don't know whether I'm allowed to or whether that's going against copyright laws.
But it was an amazing experience.

That is awesome!
I haven't read all her books, but I'm in the middle of her first book Twilight and I love it already!
I can't wait for Twilight the movie!

@ JonasBrothersFan
Enjoy the book. I was reading Twilight in one day because I couldn't put it down. It is amazing. You will love the Saga ;)

Oh yeah she is absolutely nice. And it's amazing how many people know about her and go to the events. In Germany on the Tuebingen event were over 400 people. I even asked her a question when we were having the Q&A. Last Halloween she was answering fan's questions on myspace (in the readergirlz group). She picked some of mine questions to answer, so I was really lucky twice ^^
Now the success with the Rob Pattinson autographs....
I already love all people involved in the books and the movie {love}

400?!
Wow that's a lot more than was at ours, but it seems the Twilight books have also
gotten a lot more popular over the last 6 months. =/

Re: I met Stephenie Meyer
My aunt wanted to know how many people there are and so she started to count. The whole aula of the university was full of fans (mostly girls), some were even standing. The whole book signing thing took about an hour, so you can imagine *g*
She only signed books and the girl next to me didn't have a book with her, so I borrowed her money to buy one. We are good friends now. I might meet Eva (the girl next to me) in the summer.
How many people attented your event? Did she sign pictures as well or just books? Did you talk to her? I talked to her and even gave her a present and asked her a question. She might remember me.
Yes, I think the books become more and more popular. Rob Pattinson already thinks we (the fans) are like the mafia. He's right about that. We are organized ^^

Re: I met Stephenie Meyer
Aw that was really nice of you to lend her money.
Probably only 200 or so. She only signed books as well. Personalized only Eclipse, but would sign the other two if you brought them along, which I didn't.
Ours was 2 days after Eclipse released, and I was determined to finish it before the signing.
I finished it in 2 days and one of those days I was out of town and didn't bring it.
We weren't really allowed to talk that long with her.
She did say she loved the band on my shirt. [which was The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus].

Well, I think we should help each other. I mean we all sit in the same boat, don't we?
200 is a lot as well ^^ At our signing she wasn't personalizing any book and we could bring all of her books. I brought Twilight. It was a few days before the German version of Eclipse got released, but I was reading the English version before, so I knew the story and all. I don't think that we were allowed to talk to her much as well, because that would have meant for her to stay the whole night *lol* But I tried to talk to her a bit.
