LOTS OF INPERSON SUCCESSES THIS WEEKEND

Unread post by mymymy »

This week gets better and better. With being up at Uni in London when I have free time it is so convenient to get In Person successes.

So after getting a photo taken with Kenneth Branagh on Saturday I went after the Saturday evening show but lots of the audience were left very dissapointed as he did not come out. I have heard he goes out the front so unless you atch him thier the only way to get him is before the first show of a day when he enters the stage door.

On Saturday I also had a photo taken with Kevin R Mc Nally and got it signed later. He aslo signed my autograph book.

Also on Saturday after the matinee of 'Female of The Species' I got my autograph book signed by Sophie Thompson who played Stella in Eastenders and is the sister of Emma Thompson, Phyllida Law who is the mother of Sophie and Emma who was at the stage door, also by Anna Maxwell Smith and the rest of the cast all apart from Eileen Atkins who did not come out. I also had a photo taken with Sophie and got it signed after the evening show.

Quite funny actually as a lot of these autos are connected. Emma Thompson used to be married to Kenneth Branagh so at one time Emma, Sophie, Kenneth and Phyllida were all related and part of one family.

The is a 3pm Matinee on Sunday so I went to the stage door from 12.30. He turned up just after 1pn and kindly signed and dedicated ny photo with him and added 'all the best' as an inscription. He also signed a flyer for me. Very happy with this.

That's awesome! Congrats! {up} {up}

I went to see Ivanov the other day (it was AMAZING, by the way) and got to meet Andrea Riseborough, Kevin R McNally and Malcolm Sinclair at the stagedoor. Which is great because they were my favourites in the play =) I had already meet Andrea the day before doing a reading at the Royal Court (I'm a HUGE fan of hers, she's amazing) and she's absolutely lovely.

It's great that you met Kenneth Branagh! He was very good in the play and I'd love to ask him to sign my programme, but I don't really like waiting before performances... so I don't know. I'm really gonna try to see the play again anyway. Andrea told us to go say 'hi' to her again if we came back =D

The Female of the Species was quite nice. I went to see it in July and got my programme signed by Eileen Atkins (who was really nice) and Anna Maxwell Martin (who was in a hurry but waited a bit for us anyway). You're so lucky Phyllida Law was at the stagedoor too!

Oh, and I got to see Riflemind in the end. I didn't really like the play, but John Hannah was amazing in it and he was lovely to us later. He was relly very nice, as you said =D
