JAMES MCAVOY, NIGEL HARMAN AND ALISON STEADMAN SUCCESSES

I got a photo taken with James before an afternoon rehearsal and also signed my Magazine then after rehearsals signed the photo with him and me then after the evening show signed a flyer also, a very nice young man but get him very soon before he stops.

I also got Nigel to sign my magazine but no photos were alound of fans with cast members after the show so will have to get him before a show. There was no sign of the 3rd cast member, Lyndsey Marshal.

After the eve show two people came out setting all the guidlines, such as No pushing on the barriers, no photos with them, once you got an auto, to move aside to let someone else have a chance and if anyone tried to they would take them inside and no one would get an autograph. I think this was good, it was great today as there were no dealers but it remains to be seen.

Alison Steadman also signed and personalised my photo with her.

Comments; A FREEZING day but it was worth it, I dont think I can do much more until it warms up, I have been out almost every evening this week graphing.

I was going to make the trip down to London to see the play, but unfortunately things didn't work out with my school schedule. Hopefully James will be back in Toronto soon, possibly for the film fest.

ps I heard from other collectors yesterday that Rowan Atkinson and most of the other cast no longer signs ANYTHING and either goes in the front or go in the stage door but just ignore everyone. Apparently Burn Gorman asked my friend "Youre selling these arent you" . I wish celebs had the sence to tell the difference between dealers and fans/colectors. My friend is very upset about being asked such a question.

Nice success, but I think they have every right to ask things like that, especially in London. If I saw the same people more than a few times I'd probably think they were selling too, especially if they didn't ask for anything to be dedicated on "desirable" items like 8x10 glossy photos. Those are just my thoughts.

If he went once with an autograph book I'd imagine he wouldn't have been asked that!

Fair enough but he hadnt been before and it wasw just pot luck that he was asked rather than one of the other many people there. Many real fans prefer personalised.

Honestly, I HIGHLY doubt McAvoy will ever stop signing completely. I've met him about 20 times, we usually just stood and chatted, he took so much time talking, signing and having pictures with fans, he genuinely seems to enjoy it.

Important to mention he's also got the best memory an actor could have. I haven't seen him for nearly 2 years but when we met in November he actually remembered me straight away lol

Very well done on your James success {love}. I wrote to him a little while back, so fingers crossed he pops by the agency sometime soon. He's a brilliant actor and seems nice, as well.

But I have to say I think I'd be a little bit taken aback if someone asked me whether I was going to sell an autograph, especially if it was personalised. Why would I want to do that? It's for me. ;)
