Black Eyed Peas and Jessica Simpson success

Today I went to the hotel for Black Eyed Peas before Letterman. DJ Khaled was standing in front of the hotel on the phone. He signed an index card for me while he was walking away. Fergie, apl.de.ap, and Taboo came out together through the back. Fergie's bodyguard told us no autographs, but everyone went around him and Fergie started signing for us. I asked apl.de.ap to sign my photo first and he was nice. Taboo signed my photo second. Fergie signed a storm before telling us that she would sign for us in the car. Once she got into the car, she rolled down and started signing. Fergie signed my photo and a few more before going to Letterman. We walked back to the front and ran back after seeing a SUV go to the back. Once we got to the back, will.i.am was sitting on his suitcase, talking on the phone. He signed for us and hung up the phone to take photos with us. We went to Letterman and Julia Roberts came in late without signing. On the way out, Julia signed a few in the madhouse then went back to the other side to sign a few. Black Eyed Peas didn't sign either way at Letterman. Everyone ran from Letterman to the hotel. Kathy Griffin came out of the hotel and it was insane for her. Jessica Simpson tried to sneak out of the hotel, but I asked her to sign and she said yes. She signed for everyone and took two photos with while the paparazzi went insane taking photos of her. Taboo walked out and was real cool. He came back a little while later and stopped again. Young Jeezy came out and took some photos with. Amerie did some photos with, but her boyfriend pulled her in the hotel. Fergie's car garaged it through the back of the hotel. I waited a couple hours for Ronaldinho, but never saw him come back and missed him earlier in the day coming out before I got to the hotel.

Congrats on your successes! {thumb2} I also met the BEP back in 2004 when they first came to South Africa (I've seen them twice after that live in concert) - they're quite nice. I see their signatures haven't changed at all since then, I would've thought it would since they became so popular!
